The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the rehabilitation of schools and the establishment of temporary learning centers across three districts: Jacobabad, Dadu, and Khairpur. Working in collaboration with the Education department, the Project Coordinator will ensure the effective implementation of the project and provide supervision to engineers and district coordination officers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the overall execution of the school rehabilitation and temporary learning center establishment project in Jacobabad, Dadu, and Khairpur districts.
- Work closely with the Education department, RSU and LSU to align project goals with educational priorities and ensure seamless integration into the existing education framework.
- Provide direct supervision to engineers involved in the rehabilitation projects, ensuring that construction and renovation activities adhere to quality standards and timelines.
- Coordinate with district coordination officers in Jacobabad, Dadu, and Khairpur to facilitate the smooth implementation of project activities and address any district-specific challenges.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial allocations to ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with financial guidelines.
- Prepare regular progress reports detailing project advancements, challenges, and outcomes. Maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference and reporting purposes.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including local communities, school administrators, and government officials, to foster collaboration and gather input for project improvement.
- Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee that rehabilitation and establishment activities meet prescribed standards and contribute to an improved learning environment.
- Ensure that project activities are completed within established timelines, coordinating with all involved parties to mitigate delays and challenges.
- Facilitate training sessions and capacity-building initiatives for project staff, including engineers and district coordination officers, to enhance their effectiveness and skills.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in project implementation and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Undertakes any other task assigned by the supervisor
