GBV Trainer will be responsible for implementing all field-level activities organizing training, and meetings with stakeholders in the communities

 Main Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare training schedules and plan and share them with gender and protection program of the organization for review.
  • Prepare training material and content (presentations, worksheets, etc.) according to the objectives of the training.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment by fostering open communication, active participation, and mutual respect among participants.
  • Facilitate sessions with the attendees on GBV core concepts and Child protection.
  • Address challenges and issues that arise during training sessions promptly and effectively, using creative problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Facilitating sessions to address challenges and achievements in addressing GBV emergencies that requires urgent response and intervention typically occurring conflicts, disasters or humanitarian emergencies.
  • Provide technical consultation and strategic guidance through remote support and direct field missions.
  • Preparing evaluation forms and share with SPO and Rozan for review.
  • Submit and prepare pre-post-tests for attendance.
  • Draft a training report and submit after three days of concluding each training for comments and feedback.
  • Incorporation of comments and additional findings received into the draft report.
  • Adhere to professional standards, codes of ethics, and confidentiality guidelines in all aspects of training delivery and interaction with participants

Other:

  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO
  • Carry out any other activities as assigned by the supervisor.
