We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Manager to oversee all aspects of financial management for our firm. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, you will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies to support the firm's growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, billing, and collections.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to optimize liquidity.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role, preferably in the immigration or legal industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA or CA certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

  • Knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations is a plus.
