Responsibilities:
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions into the accounting system, including invoices, expenses, and other financial records.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable by verifying and processing invoices, as well as accounts receivable by generating and sending out invoices to clients.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and policies.
- Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documents, ensuring easy retrieval when required.
- Prior experience as an assistant accountant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
