SOS Pakistan is seeking a creative and passionate UI/UX Designer with 1 to 1.5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in UI/UX design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design. This role requires proficiency with Figma and Adobe XD to create modern, user-friendly web and mobile applications that adhere to excellent visual design standards. The candidate should demonstrate a keen eye for detail and have the ability to translate user needs into functional and appealing interactive experiences.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop design systems and maintain consistency across products. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are essential to contribute to design discussions and iterative improvements. The position emphasizes a user-centered design approach supported by usability testing and strong portfolio evidence of previous UI/UX projects. Although team management is not part of this position, you will play a key role in the design lifecycle and help elevate the overall user experience of SOS Pakistan's digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs for web and mobile applications using tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
- Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and refine design solutions accordingly.
- Develop responsive design layouts that ensure optimal user experiences across different devices and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative UI/UX solutions that align with project goals.
- Establish and maintain design systems and style guides to promote consistency across products.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on accessibility and visual appeal.
- Present design concepts and iterate based on feedback from cross-functional teams and end users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to continually enhance design quality.
- Maintain a portfolio that reflects a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and showcases previous design work effectively.
- Apply problem-solving skills to identify usability issues and optimize user flows.
