We are seeking a proactive Head of Trade, based in Karachi who will be responsible to key activities for Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC). This role entails better services with agility, facilitate better rates and ensure optimization of end to end process.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible developing trade from European ports, Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, Fareast, Chine ports and Persian Gulf.
  • Ensure continuity in managing customers through better trade lanes and design better routes to meet the target.
  • Negotiate pricing and cost matrix with the main lines/feeder operator/agents
  • Administer route planning and prepare vessels to schedule.
  • Close Co-Ordination with different locations & Feeder / MLO’s Operators
  • Guiding & Directing agents for Ocean Freight for Various shipment.
  • Handling Transshipment and proactively manage container tracking and coordination with respective stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in NVOCC or shipping.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of trade regulations and logistics.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu.

Preferred:

  • Experience with shipping software.
  • Understanding of international trade routes.
