We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in the development of a cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based pharmaceutical software. This software will revolutionize the pharmaceutical industry by leveraging NLP techniques to extract insights from unstructured medical data, streamline processes, and improve decision-making. As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing this innovative product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement NLP algorithms and models to analyze and extract insights from pharmaceutical data.
- Build robust and scalable software components that integrate with AWS NLP services and other relevant technologies.
- Develop and maintain the software's backend, API endpoints, and database connections to ensure data retrieval and storage efficiency.
- Create an intuitive and user-friendly frontend for the software using modern web development frameworks.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive pharmaceutical data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Optimize the application's performance, scalability, and responsiveness to meet user expectations.
- Collaborate with data scientists, NLP engineers, and domain experts to continuously improve the software's accuracy and functionality.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to code quality and best practices.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including planning, testing, and debugging.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and software development technologies to contribute to the software's technical roadmap.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on web applications, NLP, or data processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of NLP techniques, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with AWS NLP services and cloud-based solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js).
- Understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
