Key Responsibilities:

Case Management:

  • Manage and process immigration cases, ensuring timely and accurate submission of visa applications, sponsorships, and other immigration-related documents.
  • Assess clients' eligibility for various visas (e.g., skilled, family, student, temporary, partner, etc.).
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all required documentation and information are provided to meet Australian immigration standards.
  • Communicate with clients to collect necessary documents, clarify requirements, and offer guidance on the immigration process.

Advising and Consultation:

  • Provide clear and accurate advice to clients regarding visa options, immigration laws, and policies.
  • Advise clients on the necessary steps and timelines for applying for visas, residency, or citizenship.
  • Support clients in understanding Australian immigration requirements, including health, character checks, and other relevant criteria.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure that all immigration applications are submitted in compliance with the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) regulations and guidelines.
  • Review client documents to ensure accuracy and completeness, and that they meet immigration standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Australian immigration law and changes to policy to ensure correct and current advice.

Processing and Follow-up:

  • Process and track the progress of visa applications, ensuring that deadlines are met and applications are submitted on time.
  • Follow up with the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) or other relevant authorities as needed to monitor the status of applications.
  • Liaise with immigration authorities on behalf of clients to resolve issues or obtain clarifications on case status.

Customer Service and Communication:

  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their cases and any additional requirements.
  • Handle client inquiries regarding their applications or immigration issues, providing them with timely and accurate information.
  • Manage and resolve client concerns or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and case progress.
  • Provide reports to the immigration team leader or management on case progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of documents and forms required for immigration applications.
  • Provide administrative support for the wider immigration team as required.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information at all times.
