About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy, motivated Business Analyst (Tech Based) to work on Sofstica as a Business Analyst. You would be an integral part of the layer between business and tech team working with them together to build effective and scalable solutions and building upon and implementing the life cycle (or business process) of data products.

What will you be doing:

  • Ensure all process documentation is version controlled to maintain an accurate trail.
  • Identify the gaps, improvements, & lead the delivery teams to attain optimum and best results at all times.
  • Produce / Reproduce use cases, run high quality process flows, and validate business scenarios to ensure all benefits are measurable.
  • Able to plan, organize and multi-task in pressure with minimal supervision effectively and take ownership.
  • Review & Refine Epic/Stories with the Team and review the outcomes with major stakeholders.
  • Support business testing to ensure readiness for change (i.e. UAT or etc.)
  • Conducting the group training on newly developed features.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and delivery teams across the board.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation and software requirements including user stories and acceptance criteria (user stories, tasks, epics in Jira, Zenhub software).
  • Analyze business problems and provide solutions.
  • Developed process mapping of current and future business processes.
  • Coordination with QA, Dev and PM.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, ensuring they are documented in the most appropriate method.
  • Clarification of business ideas to ascertain key features to meet customer acquisition strategies and value proposition.
  • Involved in User Interface (UI) analysis with the team to validate accuracy.
  • Conduct internal demos to ensure customer satisfaction and trust on developed product.
  • Documentations; Wireframes, Prototype, Mock-up, Business requirement document, Gap Analysis Document, Functional specification document, System requirement specification, System requirement document, Change request documentation and User Manual.
  • Ability to take full responsibility for own work with little supervision.
  • Being proactive to manage the multiple workloads, priorities, and timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum BS (CS)/IT/SE or Equivalent qualifications from a reputed University.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience in using tracking and Agile Project Management tools (i.e., Jira, confluence, Tracker, Zenhub etc)
  • Prior Experience in using wireframing/mock-up tools (e.g., Snagit, Visio, Figma, Miro etc).
  • Hands-on Experience with communication tools (Teams, Zoom, Slack, 3cx etc).
  • Working Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
  • Prior working experience with Desktop, Web and Mobile Applications is mandatory.
  • Ability to translate functional/nonfunctional business requirements into easy to understand documents for the delivery team.
  • Experience on QA and test case development (Dev / UAT Environment).
  • Uphold the professional standards and work ethic and to lead by example when working with multicultural experienced staff / other team members from Abroad.
  • Ideally self-driven with good experience in Agile and Iterative methodologies.
  • Comfortable with working at all levels of organization in different time zone.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and “outside the box”.
  • Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) Skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills to improve work performance.
  • Good time Management skills
  • Ability to handle pressure.
