Accountant

Smartlink is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in financial reporting and account reconciliation, along with strong Excel skills for financial analysis and advanced spreadsheet functions. The Accountant will contribute to the overall financial health of the company by providing insightful data and maintaining accurate bookkeeping. The position involves leading a team of three personnel, coordinating daily accounting activities, and supporting team members in achieving department goals. The Accountant collaborates with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain detailed and organized financial records, documenting all transactions and adjustments.
Use advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data, create reports, and support decision-making processes.
Lead and supervise a team of three accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Coordinate daily accounting operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect financial information and support internal audits.
Assist in the development and implementation of improved accounting procedures and controls.
Monitor compliance with company financial policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and complete financial statements.
