The ideal candidate possesses more than five years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably within the manufacturing sector. They demonstrate expert knowledge in ERP accounting software, inventory management, taxation, and financial analysis. This position demands advanced proficiency in Excel to prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial statements and management information system (MIS) reports. The role also involves liaising with tax consultants and auditors to ensure accurate compliance and timely filing of tax documents.
Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate financial records.
Lead and coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Oversee costing, budgeting, and variance analysis to monitor the companys financial performance and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns in collaboration with tax consultants and auditors.
Supervise and support a team of five accounting staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
Implement and improve ERP accounting systems to streamline processes related to financial transactions and reporting.
Monitor inventory accounting procedures to align with manufacturing operations and cost control measures.
Review internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in fiscal management.
Communicate financial insights and reports to senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and resolve any identified issues promptly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and industry best practices pertinent to the manufacturing sector.
