The Senior Scrum Master leads all Scrum ceremonies, drives Agile maturity, and manages the Azure DevOps environment to support seamless sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery tracking. They coordinate cross-team dependencies, monitor sprint progress, and develop actionable metrics and dashboards that improve predictability and team velocity. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, with 7 or more years focused on Scrum Master leadership roles. Experience in supporting Product Owner and Delivery Lead responsibilities when necessary is highly valued. Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions to ensure effective sprint execution.
Coach engineering teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous process improvement to elevate Agile maturity and delivery excellence.
Remove impediments and obstacles to enhance team productivity and sprint outcomes.
Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and servant leadership throughout the engineering organization.
Develop and maintain Agile metrics and executive dashboards, including sprint velocity, burndown charts, lead time, cycle time, capacity, defect trends, and risk reporting.
Administer and continuously improve the Azure DevOps environment by configuring projects, managing work items, dashboards, security settings, and integrating with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Facilitate effective sprint planning and team capacity management, closely monitoring progress and proactively identifying potential delivery risks.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, Product Management, UI/UX, Architecture, and DevOps teams to align delivery with business objectives and dependencies.
Support release planning and execution, helping to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality SaaS and cloud-native software products.
Mentor and provide guidance to team members on Agile processes, Scrum techniques, and best practices to foster continuous improvement and high performance.
Serve as an Agile coach to senior leadership and engineering teams, advocating Agile values while balancing pragmatic execution within a fast-paced startup environment.
Step in to support Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Delivery Lead responsibilities as needed to maintain business continuity and successful product delivery.
Ensure robust stakeholder management through clear communication, risk assessment, and regular reporting on project status and roadblocks.
Establish and govern standardized workflows, work item templates, and governance standards within Azure DevOps to streamline project management.
Stay current on Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, and adapt methodologies to support evolving team and organizational needs.
