Hiring: General Manager – Car Export Company (Japan )

Hi everyone,

We are currently hiring a General Manager for our car export company based in Japan.

Company Overview

My younger brother and I own and operate a car export company in Japan. We are originally from Pakistan and have been living in Japan for over 10 years.

We specialize in exporting Japanese vehicles to Europe, the UK, Australia, South Africa, the Caribbean, and various parts of Asia.

Job Responsibilities

As our General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing vehicle sales and purchase invoices.

  • Tracking monthly sales, expenses, taxes, and profits.

  • Organizing auction sheets, parts invoices, export certificates, and other business documents.

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is up to date.

Training will be provided, so you'll receive full guidance on our business processes.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. However, if you have strong business management skills and can effectively manage a highly competitive business, your degree field is not a deciding factor.

  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Good English communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn basic Japanese.

📍 Chikusei, Ibaraki, Japan 🇯🇵

Salary

¥250,000 – ¥350,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)

  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships and support business goals.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of one person, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Monitor financial performance and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation activities.
  • Continuously assess business challenges and propose solutions that improve operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Cultivate and maintain knowledge of basic Japanese to enhance communication and engagement within the local business context.
  • Drive innovation and adaptability within the team to respond effectively to market changes and customer demands.
