Electrician

SM Food is seeking a skilled Electrician with a minimum of three years of experience to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment within our facilities. This role requires hands-on expertise in electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. The Electrician will lead a team of five persons, providing guidance and supervision to maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines. The Electrician plays a crucial role in troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine inspections, and responding promptly to any electrical emergencies. The role demands strong technical knowledge and the ability to collaborate with various departments to support facility operations. Managing a team effectively, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate records of work performed are key responsibilities in this position.
Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
Lead and manage a team of five electricians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality workmanship.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and develop effective repair solutions.
Coordinate with facility management and other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
Ensure all electrical work complies with company policies, electrical codes, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.
Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and execute repairs to restore service safely and efficiently.
Recommend upgrades or replacements of electrical systems and components to improve safety and performance.
