Wordpress / Shopify Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress and Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and customizing e-commerce websites, as well as a strong understanding of both the WordPress and Shopify ecosystems. This role will involve building, maintaining, and optimizing e-commerce sites that provide excellent user experiences and support our sales and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

Customize themes, plugins, and templates to meet specific business needs.
Implement SEO best practices and ensure site performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related technical issues.

Shopify Development:

Customize Shopify themes and create new layouts as required.
Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party tools (e.g., Buy Now, Pay Later, multi-channel marketing).
Set up and optimize product pages, collections, and checkout processes.
Manage Shopify product data, pricing, and sales platform integration.

Cross-Platform Integration:

Develop and maintain seamless connections between WordPress, Shopify, and other third-party services (e.g., Klaviyo, Google Shopping, FB Shopping).
Implement and manage payment solutions, including BNPL options like Afterpay, Klarna, and PayPal Pay in 4.
Enable cashback, rewards, and affiliate marketing programs.

Optimization and Performance:

Ensure sites are mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for speed and performance.
Conduct A/B testing and analyze conversion data to inform design and functionality decisions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement on-site campaigns and user journey improvements.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Proven experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
Familiarity with integrating third-party tools like Klaviyo, Google Shopping, and multi-channel ad platforms.
Understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and UX/UI design principles.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Buy Now, Pay Later services, cashback/reward programs, and affiliate marketing setups.
Experience in building or managing multi-channel marketing setups (Facebook, Instagram, Google).
Knowledge of Shopify's API and experience with custom app integrations.
