Siddiqsons Industries (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Internal Audit Executive to join their team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in auditing, with a strong educational background in commerce or accountancy, such as a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Inter CA, Inter CMA qualifications, or completed articleship at a reputable firm. This role requires a meticulous auditor who can efficiently evaluate financial records and internal controls within a retail environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The Internal Audit Executive plays a critical role in identifying risks, conducting thorough audit planning, and performing financial analysis. The position demands proficiency in risk assessment and the capability to objectively review and verify financial reports and operational processes. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, the selected candidate must work collaboratively with different departments to support corporate governance and enhance operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities

Perform risk assessments to identify areas of potential financial and operational vulnerabilities.
Develop and execute audit plans based on risk evaluation results and company priorities.
Analyze financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Conduct on-site audits at retail locations and corporate offices to verify records and compliance.
Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
Coordinate with management to address audit issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor follow-up activities to ensure audit recommendations are effectively implemented.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices relevant to internal audit functions.
Support external auditors by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial and operational information.
