We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Showroom In-Charge to join our furniture showroom team in Karachi on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing quotations and follow-ups, maintaining showroom presentation, overseeing product displays, and supervising the showroom team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sales background, leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills to drive showroom success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experience.
- Lead and motivate the showroom team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotations, and ensure timely follow-up to convert leads into sales.
- Maintain high standards of showroom presentation and product displays to attract and engage customers.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure product availability.
- Utilize POS and ERP systems for sales processing and inventory management (experience preferred).
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Train and supervise showroom staff to enhance their performance and customer handling skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or showroom supervisory role, preferably within the furniture or retail sector.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and lead a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with POS and ERP software systems is considered an advantage.
- The position offers a morning shift schedule.
- Competitive salary range between PKR 80,000 and PKR 140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
