Responsibilities:
- Check Do issue and verify its commodity.
- Check and verify manifestation has been filled with all company SOPs.
- Check and maintain how much BLs has been issued to which agent on a daily basis.
- Verify complete documentation of shipment.
- Report weekly to the management about any discrepancy or incomplete record.
- Monthly checking of SOA of the agents.
- Monitoring the implementation of company SOPs regarding record keeping and documentation.
- Daily follow-up for the incomplete record needs to be completed by the respective department.
- Prepare audit reports, detail findings, and recommendations for the department & management review.
- Other tasks as instructed by the Department & Management.
Qualification and Skills:
- Minimum BBA or Masters in Finance (MBA, M.COM, or ACCA) - Finalist will be preferable.
- Proven experience in conducting internal audits, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to management.
- Proficiency in using audit tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with shipping industry regulations and practices is a plus point.
