The Program Secretary plays a vital role in maintaining accurate records and facilitating the coordination of nursing-related activities. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate electronic health records and patient files, ensuring strict confidentiality compliance.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for the nursing program, including meetings, clinical rotations, and university events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries and faculty communications related to nursing program administration.
  • Perform data entry and update databases to support program reporting and documentation requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between nursing faculty, students, and healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing program materials, correspondence, and official documents as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology to accurately process and manage health-related documentation.
  • Support compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements concerning patient and student information confidentiality.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, balancing priorities to meet deadlines efficiently within a dynamic work environment.
  • Assist in organizing special events, workshops, and training sessions related to the nursing program.
