Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions on pharmaceutics, focusing on pharmaceutical formulation, drug delivery systems, and pharmacokinetics.
- Develop, update, and implement curriculum based on current trends and advances in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Design and supervise research projects in formulation development, nanoparticle drug delivery, and controlled release systems.
- Conduct and promote research activities that align with university objectives and contribute to scientific knowledge in pharmaceutics.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals to secure research funding and enhance departmental research capabilities.
- Apply expertise in analytical method development and spectroscopy techniques, including Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), to support pharmaceutical material characterization.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, good manufacturing practices, and validation and qualification procedures in research and teaching activities.
- Guide and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in research methodology and thesis development.
- Collaborate with clinical trial teams to design and analyze pharmaceutical studies that enhance drug delivery and formulation effectiveness.
- Contribute to quality assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing by integrating best practices into research and teaching frameworks.
- Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and integrate these into academic and research programs.
- Participate in academic committees and contribute to university service activities related to pharmaceutics.
