Responsibilities

Implement and uphold laboratory safety procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Prepare biological, chemical, and physical samples for analysis according to protocol standards.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
Accurately record experimental data and compile reports to document laboratory activities and results.
Perform quality control tests and monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Manage laboratory inventory by tracking supplies, ordering materials, and organizing storage areas.
Sterilize and disinfect laboratory instruments and workspaces regularly to prevent contamination.
Handle chemicals safely in accordance with chemical safety guidelines and biosafety protocols.
Dispose of hazardous and biohazard waste materials following established procedures.
Utilize various microscopy techniques, including light, electron, and confocal microscopy, to assist scientific investigations.
Support laboratory personnel in executing experiments and resolving technical issues related to equipment and procedures.
Assist with inventory management tasks to ensure sufficient stock levels of laboratory reagents and consumables.
Maintain accurate documentation relevant to laboratory quality assurance and procedural compliance.
