Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the student affairs department, supervising a team of 10 professionals to deliver effective support services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies related to student engagement, counseling, and academic advising to enhance student success and well-being.
  • Coordinate conflict resolution initiatives, crisis management protocols, and career assessment services to provide timely and appropriate support to students.
  • Oversee the use and maintenance of case management software and data management systems to ensure accurate documentation of student interactions and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies by managing audit trails, records retention, and information governance practices.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs tailored to the needs of the student body to foster personal and academic growth.
  • Plan and execute campus events and activities that promote student engagement and community building within Shifa College of Medicine.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administrative departments to align student affairs initiatives with academic goals and institutional priorities.
  • Utilize counseling techniques and career assessment tools to support students' academic and career planning needs effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, addressing concerns promptly and promoting a positive campus climate.
  • Conduct policy analysis and change management to continuously improve student affairs services in response to evolving student needs.
