• Identify applicable environmental laws (EPA, CDA, Federal etc.) and ensure compliance
  • Conduct facility inspections, prepare reports, and take necessary actions for improvement
  • Prepare quarterly reports on facility management programs and EHS compliance
  • Advise on chemicals and environmental impacts, promote environment-friendly practices
  • Implement Hazardous Material & Waste Management program according to standards
  • Access, analyze, and report environmental performance data to management and regulatory bodies
  • Develop strategies to prevent, limit, or resolve land, water, and air environmental problems
  • Suggest suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and controls for safety
  • Implement Safety Coordinators Program and mitigate risks related to fuel, waste, and chemicals
  • Prepare hazard/risk controls procedures and recommend suitable PPE for healthcare and utilities management
  • Ensure regular facility inspections and environmental rounds for hazard identification and control
  • Complete the Annual Periodic Performance Review (PPR)
  • Conduct accident/incident investigations and assist in preparing incident analysis reports
  • Participate in Annual Risk Analysis and Hazard Vulnerability Assessment exercises
  • Provide guidance and support to the General Manager regarding EHS requirements
  • Implement practical and effective methods for promoting health, safety, and safe working practices
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and document health and safety reports
  • Identify training/certification needs to meet standards and maintain records
  • Make recommendations to control or eliminate unsafe conditions in workplaces or public facilities
  • Screen for compliance with regulated and hazardous materials
  • Stay updated with governmental environmental/occupational regulations and department policies
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs for workplace safety and hazardous material handling
