- Monitor food services operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards
- Provide optimal nutritional care and quality food to all hospitalized patients
- Assess nutritional needs, recommend diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary plans
- Formulation of Nasogastric/ (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) PEG feed according to physicians instructions and maintains caloric requirements of feeds
- Maintain diet check list record as per procedure and supervise the dietary office
- Check the tray line, observing food quality, temperature / appearance and presentation of the food (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
- Coordinate recipe development, standardization and develop new menus for food service operations
- Inspect the meals prepared and checks the meals are providing correct nutrients
- Inspect nutritional value of food
