Support the implementation of nutrition interventions through screening, counselling, referral, and community outreach activities to improve maternal and child nutrition outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MUAC screening of children and pregnant/lactating women as per protocol.
- Support Family MUAC activities and community-based nutrition screening.
- Identify and refer SAM/MAM cases to appropriate health or nutrition facilities.
- Provide MIYCN (Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition) counselling to caregivers.
- Conduct community outreach and awareness activities on nutrition practices.
- Maintain accurate records of beneficiaries, screenings, referrals, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure continuity of nutrition services.
