Accountant

Shahzad Brothers is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of five years of experience to manage financial records, prepare accurate reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in financial reporting, preparing financial statements, and proficiency in Excel. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to analyze data to support the companys financial health. The Accountant will work independently and is not responsible for managing a team but must collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate financial documentation and support business operations. The successful Accountant will take ownership of day-to-day accounting tasks including ledger management, reconciliation, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and assisting in audit processes. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, and have a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, as well as strong problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies or financial risks and recommend solutions accordingly.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports on a regular basis.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
Use Excel to organize financial data, create spreadsheets, and perform calculations to support reporting and forecasts.
Support internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and expenses to aid cash flow management.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial information and assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data and resolve issues promptly to avoid financial risks.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and related documentation.
Continuously improve accounting processes and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to maintain compliance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to provide management with insights on financial performance.
