- Processing of LCs, Bank contracts, and Amendments.
- Arranging documents, reviewing them, and submitting them to banks
- Follow-up with customs broker on timely clearance of shipment.
- Follow-up with banks on the opening of Letter of Credit within the stipulated period
- Follow-up with foreign suppliers on timely dispatch of shipments.
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the supply chain and accounts department.
- Prepare and submit all required documentation to customs authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and tariffs
- Establish work priorities, and ensure deadlines are met with the available resources
- Maintains, carries out and is responsible for the procurement of import items
- Obtain and analyze quotations and negotiate total cost elements for assigned portfolio.
- Liaising with finance for payments schedule and urgent payments as well as monthly payments
- Responsible for Vendor registration in SAP
- Responsible for ITEM/S Opening in SAP
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
