Key Responsibilities

  • As the Company Secretary & CFO you will be responsible for overseeing both the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Corporate Governance & Compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations of the

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)

  • Managing all corporate secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory registers and filing required forms and returns.- Preparing and coordinating Board of Directors and shareholder meetings, including drafting agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
  • Advising the Board on corporate governance practices and regulatory changes.Financial Management & Reporting
  • Leading and managing the finance and accounts department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Overseeing audits, both internal and external, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Managing cash flow, capital expenditures, and financial strategies to support business growth.Audit & Taxation
  • Coordinating with auditors for annual and special audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of returns.
  • Reviewing and strengthening internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications & Skills Required- Professional Qualification:

ACA/ACMA/ACCA or equivalent with additional certification as a Company Secretary preferred.-

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years in a senior finance role, with at least 3-5 years in a dual role encompassing company secretarial responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of PSX and SECP regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting, auditing, and financial management principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
