Senior SQA Engineer / Software Test Engineer — Enterprise SaaS Web Platform

We are looking for an experienced SQA Engineer / Software Test Engineer to perform comprehensive testing of an enterprise-grade SaaS web application before its upcoming pilot launch in the UAE market . This is not a basic UI-testing role. We need testers who can understand an entire business system , analyze complex workflows and processes, identify gaps between modules, challenge edge cases, and validate the product from an end-user and enterprise perspective. Our goal is to make sure the platform is stable, reliable, secure, and production-ready before real customers begin using it . What You’ll Be Testing The platform is a large, workflow-driven SaaS application involving: Complex end-to-end business processes Multiple user roles and permission levels Multi-step workflows and approvals Interconnected modules Forms, validations, rules, and calculations Dashboards and reporting Notifications and system-generated actions Data dependencies between different parts of the application Administrative and operational workflows Real-world enterprise user journeys You will be expected to test complete processes rather than isolated screens . For example, if a workflow starts with one user creating a request, moves through multiple approvals, triggers system actions, updates records, generates notifications, and appears in reports, you should be able to validate that entire lifecycle from beginning to end . Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of the SaaS platform. Understand complete business workflows and test them from a real-world user perspective. Design detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test checklists . Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, usability, and negative testing. Test workflows across multiple users, roles, permissions, and departments. Identify logical gaps, broken flows, missing validations, inconsistent behavior, and edge cases. Verify business rules, calculations, status transitions, dependencies, and process logic. Test how different modules interact with each other. Validate data consistency throughout the system. Perform cross-browser and responsive web testing. Test error handling and unexpected user behavior. Reproduce defects and document them with clear steps, evidence, severity, and expected behavior. Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand intended system behavior. Retest fixes and conduct regression testing before releases. Help establish a structured QA process for pilot and production releases. Identify areas where requirements or workflows may be unclear, incomplete, or risky. Think beyond documented requirements and actively try to break the system before customers do . Provide a clear assessment of product readiness before the UAE pilot launch. What We’re Looking For We are specifically looking for experienced QA professionals , not entry-level testers. You should have: Strong professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing . Proven experience testing large SaaS, ERP, CRM, workflow, fintech, HRMS, operations, or other enterprise web applications . Strong understanding of end-to-end system testing. Ability to understand complicated business processes quickly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience creating professional test cases and test scenarios. Excellent exploratory testing skills. Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing. Experience testing role-based access and permission models. Experience validating workflows involving multiple actors and system states. Ability to identify edge cases that may not be documented. Strong bug-reporting and defect-triage skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between minor UI issues and serious business/process failures. Strong written communication skills. What happens if two users perform conflicting actions? Can an unauthorized role access this information? What happens if an approval is rejected and submitted again? Does changing data in one module correctly update every dependent module? What happens with duplicate, missing, invalid, or unexpected data? Are notifications triggered at the correct stage? Can users bypass the intended workflow? Are statuses, reports, dashboards, and audit records always consistent? What happens after hundreds or thousands of records exist? What could cause a real enterprise customer to lose trust in this system? We need someone who approaches QA as system validation and risk identification , not simply clicking through predefined test cases. Current Project Stage The application is approaching an important milestone: an enterprise pilot launch in the UAE . Before the pilot begins, we want the platform thoroughly challenged by experienced QA professionals so we can identify: Critical defects Workflow failures Business-logic problems Integration issues Permission/security gaps Usability problems Data inconsistencies Production-release risks This position will have a significant impact on determining whether the product is genuinely ready for customer use.
