Join DigitalOcean and be part of a team dedicated to building the simplest scalable cloud platform alongside top industry talent. If you have a growth mindset, think boldly, and excel in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this opportunity is for you. At Cloudways, you will develop products that simplify cloud complexity and empower developers, agencies, and digital businesses through intuitive, scalable, and AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, roadmap, and full lifecycle management of multiple Cloudways products or major product areas—from discovery and validation to launch, adoption, growth, and ongoing improvement. Gain a deep understanding of Cloudways customers, including developers, digital agencies, ecommerce businesses, and SMBs, and translate their needs into clear product opportunities and priorities.
Drive continuous product discovery by conducting customer interviews, usability testing, surveys, behavioral analysis, competitive research, and market validation. Establish structured feedback loops across Product, Customer Support, Customer Success, Sales, and Community teams to integrate insights into product decisions.
Define customer problems, product requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes for new features. Build strong business cases by evaluating customer value, market opportunity, strategic fit, development effort, costs, revenue potential, and risks.
Own and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment across teams and clarity on expected customer and business outcomes. Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Product Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, and other functions to bring products from concept to market adoption.
Partner with UX and Engineering to create simple, intuitive solutions that reduce complexity in managing websites, applications, and cloud infrastructure. Operate as an AI-first Product Manager by identifying opportunities where AI, automation, and agentic experiences can enhance customer outcomes, workflows, and decision-making.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize feedback, analyze data, develop prototypes, validate concepts, and improve product execution speed and quality. Define and track product success metrics such as acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, revenue, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Use quantitative and qualitative data to investigate ambiguous problems, identify anomalies, uncover growth opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership. Lead product launches in partnership with Product Marketing and stakeholders, managing positioning, packaging, pricing, rollout planning, customer communication, sales and support readiness, and success measurement.
Conduct post-launch reviews to identify gaps and incorporate learnings into future development. Drive adoption and growth across customer segments, geographies, channels, and use cases. Monitor product quality, escalations, service performance, bugs, and operational risks, prioritizing resolution with Engineering.
Identify risks to delivery, adoption, or customer experience and develop mitigation plans. Represent Cloudways in strategic customer conversations, roadmap discussions, product discovery, and escalations. Independently align stakeholders, resolve ambiguity, and make informed decisions with limited oversight. Contribute to Cloudways’ product culture by sharing insights and improving product management practices.
