Senior PHP Laravel Developer

Location: Lahore Company: Tech Bridge Consultancy About the Role Tech Bridge Consultancy is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior PHP Laravel Developer with 8 to 10 years of professional experience in building scalable web applications and contributing to high-performing development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Laravel and modern backend development practices, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with international clients and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable and secure web applications using PHP and Laravel. Contribute to technical design discussions and follow best practices for coding standards, security, and application performance. Collaborate with team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing. Design and optimize databases using MySQL/PostgreSQL with a focus on performance and data integrity. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and microservice based solutions. Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for scalability and reliability. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and support. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and system architecture. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of professional experience in PHP web development with strong Laravel expertise. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and modern web development practices. Solid experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, database design, and SQL optimization. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns. Hands-on experience in building and securing RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems. Proven hands-on experience working with microservices architecture in production environments. Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and perform effectively in fast-paced environments. Nice to Have Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Exposure to Kubernetes and performance monitoring tools.
