Senior Full Stack Developer (Bootstrap Focus)

Exchange My Car, a fast-growing UK-based technology platform transforming the car-selling experience, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Bootstrap expertise to join their remote team in Pakistan. This full-time position focuses on enhancing and modernizing the front-end user experience while supporting full-stack development on an existing PHP-based platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive web development experience and a passion for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using Bootstrap versions 4 and 5.
- Convert design concepts into production-ready front-end components.
- Maintain and improve the existing user interface to ensure a seamless experience across the platform.
- Collaborate closely with senior developers and the wider team to implement new features.
- Support backend development tasks, including API integration and database work as required.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end and full-stack development.
- Contribute to performance optimization and overall platform quality improvements.

Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Bootstrap 4 and 5.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and front-end development best practices.
- Experience working with PHP, particularly within existing PHP applications.
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter or Laravel is highly desirable.
- Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work across the full technology stack, supporting UI, backend, API, and database tasks.
- Demonstrated experience in improving or modernizing existing web applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent spoken and written English communication skills.
