Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with over five years of experience to join our innovative and fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automation, scripting, deployment, and system monitoring. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, automate workflows, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for various applications and services.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to design, implement, and support infrastructure, cloud services, and DevOps tools.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Create and maintain scripts for automation and system administration tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure and application stacks to maintain system stability and performance.
- Uphold high standards for system reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and incident management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance our infrastructure and processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation and system management.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
