Sellovance seeks an experienced Amazon Inventory Manager to oversee FBA inventory planning for established US brands operating in the US and Canadian marketplaces. This role demands strong expertise in Amazon Seller Central, inventory management systems, and supply chain optimization to maintain efficient stock levels and optimize replenishment strategies. The Inventory Manager is responsible for forecasting sales velocity, calculating reorder points, creating FBA shipments, and ensuring timely delivery to Amazon fulfillment centers, all while managing inventory costs and minimizing storage fees. This position does not include managing a team but requires close collaboration with client operations teams, third-party logistics providers, and freight forwarders. The ideal candidate possesses 2 to 4 years of direct Amazon FBA inventory experience either from an agency or brand perspective and demonstrates proficiency with advanced Excel and Google Sheets functions for inventory tracking and forecasting. Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central tools, shipment workflows, and restock reporting is essential. The role demands excellent analytical skills to justify restock decisions and solid communication skills to produce US client reports. Experience or knowledge in freight forwarding, customs, Amazon Canada marketplace, and reimbursement claim processing is advantageous. This is a full-time onsite position requiring work during late afternoon to early morning hours to align with operational needs.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly inventory trackers to monitor stock levels and sales velocity for multiple Amazon FBA clients.
  • Calculate reorder points, safety stock, and days of cover to generate accurate and defendable restock recommendations.
  • Create and manage FBA shipment plans within Amazon Seller Central ensuring compliance with capacity limits and Amazon guidelines.
  • Track inbound shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution with 3PLs and freight forwarders.
  • Monitor inventory performance to prevent aged inventory surcharges, storage fees, and low inventory levels especially during peak sales events like Prime Day and Q4.
  • File and manage FBA reimbursement claims for lost, damaged, or mis-received inventory units to recover financial losses.
  • Collaborate closely with client operations teams and external partners to synchronize inventory replenishment activities and resolve logistics challenges.
  • Utilize Excel and Google Sheets extensively for data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and forecasting formulas to optimize inventory planning.
  • Generate detailed reports for US clients and communicate inventory status, risks, and opportunities through professional written updates.
  • Stay informed about Amazon FBA policies, marketplace changes, and supply chain best practices to continuously enhance inventory management processes.
  • Support occasional tasks related to freight forwarding, customs documentation, and international marketplace inventory if relevant.
  • Leverage additional Amazon seller tools such as Helium 10 or Sellerise for enhanced inventory insights and operational efficiency.
