Responsibilities
- Handle cash, checks, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Process sales transactions using cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy.
- Record daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management review.
- Verify the authenticity of banknotes and coins to minimize risks of counterfeit currency.
- Assist customers with payment queries, resolve billing issues, and provide accurate change.
- Adhere to company policies and banking procedures to maintain compliance and security.
- Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities promptly.
- Support inventory management by accurately recording sales and refunds.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment to maintain professionalism.
