Details about the role:
Product Associate is a professional development opportunity for engineers, designers, and business professionals to work with our portfolio startups on global products. After a 4-6 week product management training, the Associate will work closely with startup co-founders to gather market and customer insights, develop product vision and roadmaps, manage customer journeys, track user behavior, and own all aspects of the product and its adoption. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in product management and take on more responsibility over time.
Responsibilities
- Assist in market research and competitive analysis to gather customer and market insights
- Help define and document product requirements, use cases, and customer personas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps, launch plans, and go-to-market strategies
- Support the team in the development and launch of the product
- Track product performance and provide data-driven insights to the product team
- Participate in user testing and other validation activities
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather feedback on new product features.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in relevant field (business, engineering, and design)
- Ability to work in flexible and fast-paced environments, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of product development methodologies and experience working with agile development teams is a plus
- Experience with data analysis and Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- A passion for understanding customer needs and the ability to think creatively about how to meet them
