The Sales Import Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow our import services. This role requires a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets for import services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of import shipments.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
