This role requires expertise in researching thematic and cultural contexts, with fluency in both English and Urdu to capture diverse perspectives authentically. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it demands high collaboration with creative and production personnel to bring concepts to life effectively. The successful Script Writer will be responsible for ideating, drafting, and refining scripts across media platforms, including digital content tailored for social media channels. Candidates should show an informed awareness of global trends in film, television, streaming, and digital media to ensure content remains current and appealing. A degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Journalism, Creative Writing, or relevant practical experience, combined with a portfolio showcasing versatility in scriptwriting styles, will be key to thriving in this role.


Responsibilities
  • Develop original scripts for various media formats, including short-form videos, long-form productions, and digital content.

  • Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and content creators to align scripts with production goals and audience expectations.
  • Keep abreast of global trends in film, television, streaming platforms, and social media to infuse scripts with contemporary relevance.
  • Generate innovative ideas for scripts by analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, and applying research methodology.
  • Write and adapt scripts in both English and Urdu to appeal to diverse audiences and meet linguistic requirements.
  • Maintain script formatting standards to ensure scripts are production-ready and professionally presented.
