Content Creator

As a Content Creator at our Salon and Spa, you will play a vital role in crafting and showcasing our brand’s unique personality through dynamic and engaging digital content. Your creativity and social media expertise will help capture authentic moments including before and after transformations, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and trending content that resonates with our audience and drives customer bookings. You will work closely with the salon team to generate compelling visuals and stories that highlight our services and culture, enhancing our online presence across various platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video and photographic content tailored to social media channels such as Instagram. You will develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with promotions, seasonal trends, and brand objectives. Additionally, you will write engaging captions and stay current with platform trends and audio to maximize engagement. Although this position does not involve managing a team, you will collaborate with stylists to coordinate client content and staff spotlights, ensuring consent and professional presentation at all times.

Responsibilities

Film and edit short-form videos including Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts showcasing services, transformations, and salon culture.
Capture and edit high-quality photos for Instagram, Google Business profiles, and the company website.
Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing promotions and seasonal trends to optimize audience engagement.
Write engaging and creative captions that complement visual content and maintain brand voice.
Monitor and stay up-to-date on social media platform trends, popular audio tracks, and emerging content styles.
Collaborate with stylists to capture client consented content and create staff spotlights that highlight team members.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all content and social media platforms.
Utilize video editing and color grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal of multimedia content.
Manage digital assets and organize media files for easy retrieval and efficient content production workflow.
Track and analyze content performance metrics to inform future content strategy and improve audience engagement.
