Waiter

Saffron Foodies Restaurants is seeking an experienced Waiter to join our fine dining team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience in a fine dine restaurant setting and demonstrates excellent communication skills alongside thorough knowledge of food and beverage services. As a key member of our service team, the Waiter ensures guests receive exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive and friendly service, accurately taking and delivering orders, and maintaining the ambiance and cleanliness of the dining area. This role requires strong knowledge of menu items and proper etiquette in table setting, serving, and clearing to uphold the high standards expected by our clientele. In this role, the Waiter does not supervise others but plays a critical part in supporting the team to deliver seamless service. Responsibilities include assisting guests with food and beverage selections, efficiently managing multiple tables, resolving any customer inquiries or issues promptly, and collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. The candidate must be knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and capable of offering suggestions that accommodate customer preferences. The Waiter contributes significantly to creating a welcoming and professional environment, enhancing overall guest satisfaction at every visit.
Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests promptly with a warm and friendly attitude.
Present menus, provide detailed information on menu items, and answer questions regarding ingredients and preparation methods.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the ordering system.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring correct items are delivered to the appropriate guests.
Maintain proper table settings and clear tables promptly following service.
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly and professionally to any requests or complaints.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order preparation.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and daily specials to assist guests.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations consistently.
Manage cash and card transactions accurately and provide receipts as needed.
Support the restaurant team by maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
Adhere to company policies and procedures to deliver consistent high-quality service.
