We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP / Laravel Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in API and website development. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in our development team, contributing to the creation of robust, scalable, and efficient web applications and APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Application Development: Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, ensuring they meet high standards for performance, security, and usability.
API Development: Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between web applications and external systems. Implement best practices for API development and documentation.
Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) to store and retrieve data.
Code Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing code for performance improvements, scalability, and maintainability. Debug and resolve issues efficiently.
Front-end Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces and ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
Security: Implement security best practices to safeguard web applications and APIs from vulnerabilities, including data protection, authentication, and authorization.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and issues. Ensure code is compliant with coding standards and quality guidelines.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and software architecture. Assist other team members in understanding and utilizing the developed components.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement best practices and tools to improve development processes.
