Accounts Officer

Sabir's Poultry Pvt Ltd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, with preference given to those with an M.Com or ACCA qualification. This role requires a minimum of two years of relevant accounting and finance experience and is vital for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accounts Officer will handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and the effective use of ERP accounting software. This position requires a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in processing financial transactions. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate must work collaboratively with colleagues to support the company's financial goals and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities

Manage and process accounts receivable ensuring timely invoicing and collection.
Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update financial records in ERP accounting software accurately and promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant financial regulations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes to guarantee accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company data at all times.
Provide timely responses to inquiries related to accounts and financial records from management and other departments.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
