We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer with upto 4 years of experience in tax management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's tax compliance and filing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll tax management and the ability to effectively handle accounting duties independently without team management responsibilities. The Accounts Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s compliance with statutory tax obligations. The Accounts Officer is expected to execute day-to-day accounting tasks with precision, including preparing tax returns and monitoring payroll taxes to ensure timely and accurate payments. The role involves collaborating closely with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and implement best financial practices.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of monthly tax returns, after consulting with seniors.
- Ensuring compliance with income tax/sales tax notices.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with all tax regulations.
- Manage payroll tax calculations and ensure timely submission of payroll-related taxes.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial transactions related to tax filings and payroll.
- Monitor and analyze tax liabilities to optimize compliance.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to collect financial data needed for tax filings.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to tax and payroll for internal review and external audits.
- Support audits by providing accurate tax and responding to auditor inquiries.
