We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the basic accounts of our customers and handling monthly sales tax calculations. This role requires proficiency in Excel, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent mathematical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts for our customers.
- Prepare and process monthly sales tax calculations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other accounting documents.
- Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
