Ruaa Group is seeking a dedicated Video Editor who possesses a strong command of video editing software and a creative eye to produce compelling visual content. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro, and works independently with keen attention to detail and technical aptitude. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the Video Editor plays a critical role in shaping the companys visual storytelling and content presentation.
The Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcasting. This involves selecting, cutting, and joining parts of video footage, adding transitions, effects, and audio elements to create polished and engaging videos aligned with the companys brand and objectives. The role requires balancing creativity with technical skills to deliver high-quality video projects on schedule while continuously improving editing techniques and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage and assemble it into a coherent and visually appealing final product.
- Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools to enhance video quality.
- Incorporate audio, visual effects, graphics, and other necessary elements to enrich the storytelling.
- Review and revise videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
- Maintain organized files and archives for all edited videos and source materials.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and feedback.
- Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and software advancements to continuously enhance skillset.
- Work independently to solve technical challenges and optimize video production workflows.
