We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement, monitor, and maintain HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to mitigate potential risks.
Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and regulations.
Conduct safety training and inductions for staff and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to local legislation.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
Promote a positive HSE culture within the workplace.
Ensure emergency response plans are in place and effectively communicated.

Qualifications and Skills:

NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Certification (essential).
IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) membership (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficient in MS Office and HSE management systems.
