General Science Lecturer

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Science Lecturer to join our academic team. The Science Lecturer will deliver high-quality instruction, guide research activities, and contribute to curriculum development within their area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Instruction:
- Prepare and deliver lectures, and seminars for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans in line with the academic curriculum.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Student Mentorship:
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, including mentoring for research projects and theses.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
Research and Scholarship:
- Conduct original research in the field of science, aiming for publication in reputable journals.
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and secure research funding through grant applications.
Curriculum Development:
- Participate in the development and enhancement of science programs and courses.
- Ensure the curriculum aligns with current advancements and industry trends.
Administrative Duties:
- Attend departmental meetings, committees, and academic events.
- Contribute to the organization and coordination of academic workshops, conferences, and student activities.
Community and Professional Engagement:
- Build connections with industry professionals, academic institutions, and the broader scientific community.
- Represent the institution in conferences, symposiums, and public outreach initiatives.
