Surveyor

Roots Associates is seeking an experienced Surveyor with a solid background in land and Road construction surveying to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience, particularly in road construction projects. This role involves accurately measuring and mapping land to support construction development, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legal boundaries. Candidates with prior experience working on DHA projects are highly preferred, highlighting a familiarity with high standards and regulatory requirements in the development sector. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and comprehensive knowledge of surveying techniques are essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct land and construction surveys to gather accurate data for project planning and execution.
Perform boundary surveys to establish property lines and prevent disputes.
Collect, analyze, and interpret surveying data using surveying instruments
Prepare detailed maps, drawings, and reports to document survey
Support road construction projects with precise measurements and staking to ensure alignment with design specifications.
Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to address survey-related issues and provide technical guidance.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify potential challenges in land conditions and provide recommendations to mitigate risks during construction.
Stay updated with the latest surveying techniques, tools, and industry best practices relevant to construction and road development.
