Operations Management:
- Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the hydroponic farm, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest activities.
- Monitor and maintain the hydroponic systems, including nutrient management, water quality, and pH levels.
- Implement irrigation and fertigation schedules, adjusting them as necessary based on crop needs and environmental conditions.
- Oversee pest and disease management strategies, ensuring the implementation of integrated pest management practices.
- Maintain accurate records of crop production, resource usage, and environmental parameters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hydroponic farming, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of hydroponic systems, nutrient management, and crop production techniques.
- Strong understanding of plant physiology, pest and disease management, and irrigation principles.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic agricultural environment.
