- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT equipment with in the office premises.
- Manage network devices, workstations, and peripherals.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices.
- Provide timely technical assistance to partner and RIZ staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and telephony systems.
- Monitor network performance and address any connectivity or bandwith issues.
- Maintain VLAN configurations and firewall rules.
- Coordinate with the office's network team for seamless operations.
- Implement and manage regular data backups.
- Develop and test disaster recovery procedures.
- Ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications used by partner and RIZ Staff.
- Coordinate with vendors for licensing and support agreements.
- Enforce software usage policies.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, licenses, and warranties.
- Generate periodic reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions and report to Head office.
- Work closely with the office management team to understand their IT requirements.
- Liaise with the internal IT department for escalations, upgrades, and implementations.
- Engage with external vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
